This special after hours tour, guided by architects DLA Design, will allow you to explore the varied history and architecture of the Market, seeing this unique and special place from a totally different perspective
DLA Design will guide you on an architectural tour of Borough Market, exploring how the architecture and infrastructure of the Market supports its identity and how this is brought to life by traders, the local community and visitors. The tour will include the recently completed communal hub, Jubilee Place.
As London’s oldest food market, it has been serving the people of Southwark for 1,000 years, and that extraordinary heritage is an important part of its appeal. With architecture ranging from the Victorian, to Art Deco, to the modern day, Borough Market is an iconic space in the heart of London.
The tour will run at three times, with tours starting at 6pm, 6.20pm and 6.40pm. Each tour lasts around 45 minutes. The maximum amount of people on the tour will be 15 per group. Booking is essential and tickets can be purchased here
