Eighty Six List, a hospitality network founded in 2015 by Natalia Ribbe-Szrok, will be curating a month-long series of pop up restaurants with some of the UK’s most exciting chefs.
In June, Natalia Ribbe-Szrok will host four different chefs who have yet to open their own restaurants, at 1 Cathedral Street in Borough Market. Each chef will put together a pop-up showcasing what they would do if they had a permanent site.
The chefs taking part are:
- 1-3 June: Maxine Thompson, private chef & owner of the fantastic women’s chef clothing company Polka Pants.
- 15-17 June: Freddie Janssen (F.A.T. and author of Pickled) & Sebastian Myers (The Laughing Heart Cave) of Snackbar, their east London restaurant to open early 2018.
- 22-24 June: Leandro Carreira & Cameron Dewar famously of their residency in Climpsons Arch will bring a showcase of what’s to come at their London Bridge restaurant later this year.
- 27-29 July: Conor Sheehan & Jackson Berg from moveable restaurant Xiringuito
Each pop-up will run over three days, with dinner Thursday and Friday and a lunch and dinner offering on Saturday. Tickets are £50 for dinner which includes a cocktail and snacks, three courses and beverage pairing. Lunch is £35 with a cocktail, snacks and three courses and an optional pairing at £15. Each menu has been carefully curated by each chef and will be using seasonal ingredients, highlighting produce from the Market.
